The matter under discussion in this paper is the recollection of theoretical issues on borderland debate that is heavily carried out without proper field recognition. Thus, I provide in this paper summary of field work in Bagrationovsk (Russia) supported by the photographical material.

Keywords: Anthropology of Central and Easter Europe, Borderland Discourse, Russia, Bagrationowsk
